Terms of use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who downloads, tries or buys CleanUai, the Mac cleaner made by oprimo.dev, run by Luciano de Souza. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. Nothing here takes away the rights consumer protection law gives you.
2. The free trial
CleanUai comes with a 7-day free trial, fully unlocked and with no card required. The trial is available once per Mac and starts when you begin it in the app. When it ends, nothing is charged: the app keeps scanning for free, and cleaning, uninstalling and updating apps require a license.
3. The license
- Pay once. The lifetime license costs US$ 9.99 (card, via Stripe) or R$ 34.90 (Pix or card, via InfinitePay). It’s not a subscription and there are no automatic charges.
- 1 Mac at a time. Each license works on one Mac at a time. It’s personal and transferable: to use it on another Mac, release the old one at cleanuai-activation.oprimo.dev/clean/licence and activate your key on the new one.
- Forever. The license doesn’t expire, and the app keeps working on the version you have.
- 1 year of new versions. Your purchase includes the new versions released within 1 year of the purchase date. After that, whenever you want the newest version, you can pay the full price again and get another year of new versions from that day. This is optional and never charged automatically.
You may not share your key publicly, resell it or try to get around the license or trial checks.
4. Your files
CleanUai is built not to delete what it shouldn’t: scanning only reads, every cleanup moves files to the macOS Trash, deleting permanently only happens by holding the button, and a guard refuses to touch protected locations (system folders, Documents, Keychains, Mail, Messages, the Photos library, iCloud Drive and other users).
Still, you decide what to clean. Check your selection before cleaning and before emptying the Trash, and keep a backup of your Mac (for example with Time Machine). Anything you delete permanently or empty from the Trash can’t be recovered.
When the App Updater replaces an app with its new version, the old version goes to the Trash. New versions come from the developers themselves, the App Store or Homebrew, and each follows the terms of whoever publishes it.
5. Refunds
If something didn’t work out, get in touch at apps@oprimo.dev and tell us what happened.
6. Warranty and liability
We do our best to make CleanUai work well and safely, but it’s provided as is, without a guarantee that it fits every case or runs flawlessly on every Mac. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any problem with the app is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
7. Trademarks
CleanUai and CY-01 are names of oprimo.dev. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. CleanMyMac is a trademark of MacPaw. CleanUai is an independent app with no affiliation with Apple or MacPaw.
8. Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the version in force when you bought still applies to your license. Questions? apps@oprimo.dev.
These terms are governed by Brazilian law.
